Gwen is a responsible, dependable student. She works hard to become a role model for other students. In grade 8, Gwen was an honor student with a 91% grade point average.

Goals: She would like to finish her studies and provide a good home for her family.

Family: Gwen lives with her mother, stepfather and two younger siblings.

Income: The family of five lives on about $9 a day. However, the income is not certain.

Housing: Their home has walls of hollow blocks. The floor is concrete. The windows are wire mesh.
